Join STOP AIDS for the best way to start a jammed packed Sunday of family fun in Cincinnati!Start with our annual Walk to Stop AIDS to support the only resource center to HIV/AIDS prevention education & testing programs in our area!

Register or Donate Now!

 

Then, join the HRC Greater Cincinnati Steering Committee at Great American Ball Park when the Cincinnati Reds challenge the Milwaukee Brewers!

After that, stop by America's largest Oktoberfest with authentic food, beverages and music where you can do the Chicken Dance until 10 p.m.! http://www.oktoberfestzinzinnati.com

The action starts at 9:00 a.m. with Walk to Stop AIDS registration, Music from the WIZ 101.1 & the Cincinnati Mens Chorus, enjoy breakfast & an awesome scenic walk on both sides of our Ohio River! Then head over to the Reds game by 1 p.m. for the game. Be there early to join the Cincinnati Mens Chorus as they sing the National Anthem!Tickets for the game must be purchased in advance, online at www.hrc.org/reds. Tickets are $17 each and include a one-year HRC membership or renewal for persons 18 years of age or older. Wear your best STOP AIDS & HRC gear all day to show your family pride!!!Bring the whole family and all of your friends!

2011 Walk to STOP AIDS

We look forward to another fun-filled Walk to STOP AIDS this year! This year's event includes breakfast, coffee, entertainment and more - then the 5K walk will begin at Sawyer Point along the Ohio River, toward the Great American Ballpark and then Kentucky bound as we cross the Ohio River over the Taylor Southgate Bridge into Historic Newport where we continue the walk. The route heads back into Cincinnati over the Ohio River, into Sawyer Point via the Purple People Bridge, and to the finish back at Sawyer Point! Runners, you can also run this course!

FUNDRAISING TIP! Hold a little silent auction at work next week! Have co-workers bring in items that they can donate to the auction - even if they are used! Think of it as a garage sale silent auction....Have a car wash! Have a lemonade stand! Involve the kids in activities like these to raise funds for the Walk to STOP AIDS. And don't forget Facebook - think of all your friends that you can hit up via Facebook to donate to you!
