Been meaning to get involved with your local LGBT safe-schools organization? GLSEN Greater Cincinnati is working to make K-12 schools safe for all students regardless of sexual orientation or gender identity/expression and they could use your help!

New volunteers meet with GLSEN's volunteer coordinator to talk about how GLSEN works and how you personally can help make schools safe for all students. Volunteer orientation takes about an hour, and you should be prepared to discuss past volunteer experience, skills, and interests. The next one is Saturday, August 20th, 12 noon at the Rohs St Cafe in Clifton Heights.

If you're interested in attending, please contact Nathan Wessel at nswessel@gmail.com or 330-936-2849.

The Gay, Lesbian and Straight Education Network(GLSEN) of Greater Cincinnati works to ensure safe K-12 schools for all students regardless of sexual orientation or gender identity/expression. You can "like" GLSEN on Facebook or join their email mailing list.
