Black AIDS Awareness Day

posted Feb 7, 2011, 8:54 AM by Michael Chanak

4000 to 6000 people are living with HIV in the Cincinnati region.

Many of whom are African American.

And many of whom do not know they are HIV+.

Please help us today to get the word out:

1. Tell all your friends and family to get tested for HIV.

2. If someone you know is HIV+ make sure they are getting medical treatment and request a case manager here at STOP AIDS.

3. Send a message to your friends on Facebook and Twitter about Black AIDS Awareness Day. And become our friend on both.

3. Donate to STOP AIDS so we can continue to offer these case management services and our outreach/HIV testing all completely free of charge. These services are so important to reducing the prevelence of HIV in our community.
