Call for 2011 Youth Summit Workshops & Presenters!

Saturday, September 24 at Northern Kentucky University

The 2011 Youth Summit is being organized by GLSEN Greater Cincinnati along with support from Children's Hospital, PFLAG, and HRC. Watch for more information at www.cincyyouthsummit.org and follow us on Facebook at www.facebook.com/glbtqyouthsummit.

Do you have a passion for a topic that affects the GLBTQ & straight ally community? Please consider presenting a workshop at the Youth Summit! This is an all-day, free event including lunch & dinner to enrich and empower our community. There will be suggested paths mapped out to help everyone have the most fulfilling experience possible – a youth/student path, an educator/administrator path & a healthcare worker path. We are also hoping to have local artists, spoken word performers, writers, stage performers and other creative folks join us to assist youth in expressing themselves and presenting their artwork during dinner.

The deadline to submit a proposal for a workshop is Friday, August 5th. For a workshop proposal packet, please visit us at www.cincyyouthsummit.org & click on “workshops” or email us at info@cincyyouthsummit.org or education@glsencincinnati.org. .

For example, last year's workshops included:
