Equal Housing and Employment Act Officially Introduced With Bi-Partisan Support

The Equal Housing and Employment Act (“EHEA”) has been introduced in the Ohio General Assembly, and a rally supporting the bill is being held on the steps of the Ohio Statehouse. Sponsored by Republican Ross McGregor and Democrat Nickie Antonio in the House and Senators Michael Skindell and Charleta Tavares in the Senate, EHEA will add to Ohio’s existing law a prohibition on discrimination based on sexual orientation and gender identity in employment, housing, and public accommodations.
