Please join a gathering of pro-equality clergy from around Southwest Ohio for a great lunch catered by Cuisine East West served at Mt. Auburn Presbyterian Church. In addition to being a good time of food and fellowship, this event will also raise money to support the work of Equality Ohio as it seeks to get EHEA voted out of the Ohio Senate and on to the governor's desk for his signature during this General Assembly!
You'll hear from one of our local Representatives in the Ohio House, Denise Driehaus, who voted for the Equal Housing and Employment Act (EHEA, House Bill 176), which passed the Ohio House of Representatives earlier this session. EHEA would add to Ohio's civil rights laws protections based on sexual orientation and gender identity for employment, housing and public accommodations.
You'll also hear from Sue Doerfer, Equality Ohio's Executive Director, as to where we are in Ohio when it comes to LGBT rights and how Ohio clergy can be a part of helping change hearts and minds as we move forward in the pro-equality movement.
Please stand for equality in Ohio NOW!
If you have any questions, please feel free to email or call any of the co-hosts, or contact Robert Blum at 513 549 1583 or rdblum@hotmail.com.
