Pride weekend is fast approaching. Would you like to help staff the PFLAG table? NKY Pride Festival is Saturday, July 9 in Goebel Park in the
Mainstrausse Village of Covington. The Cincinnati Pride Parade is on Sunday, July 10, followed by the festival on Fountain Square. Please join us for the parade or volunteer for a two hour shift at one of the festivals. The NKY festival runs from 10 am til dusk; Cincinnati's festival from 1:00 til dusk on Sunday. To volunteer reply to this email or write to info@pflagcinci.org . Pride web sites;http://www.nkypride.org/ , http://www.equinoxcincinnati.com/.

Meet the 2011 PFLAG Scholarship winners at the June 14 meeting. As usual we meet at Mt. Auburn Presbyterian Church, 103 Wm. Howard Taft. Social period starts at 7:00 pm with the meeting itself at 7:30.

Cincinnati World Cinema presents THE TOPP TWINS: UNTOUCHABLE GIRLS, an entertaining and heart- warming documentary profiling the musical and comedic talent of Jools and Linda Topp, while also sharing a contemporary history of New Zealand. Sunday June 26, at 6:00 and Tuesday June 28, at 7:30, at the Carnegie Arts Center in Covington, post-film discussion immediately following.

From a promotional email PFLAG received:
"As I'm telling all of my friends, "The Topp Twins" is a great film that will appeal to everyone, but as there are so few positive films featuring gay men and women we really want to get the word out as broadly as possible to the GLBT community.  The film is a documentary about two incredible twin sisters from New Zealand and their lives as singers, comedic actors, social activists - and oh, by the way, they're both lesbians.

Lots more info and a trailer at www.cincyworldcinema.org.  Tickets can be purchased in advance at any of the ticket outlets (listed on the CWC website), on-line, or at the event."
