posted Sep 11, 2011, 2:31 PM by Michael Chanak

PFLAG Cincinnati --

Our speaker on Tuesday, September 13, will be Eric Smoot speaking about "How to talk to children about hate crimes".  Eric retired after 30 years with the Cincinnati Police Department.

As usual, we meet at Mt. Auburn Presbyterian Church, 103 Wm. Howard Taft, at 7 pm for a social period with the meeting itself at 7:30. During the second half of the meeting we break into small groups and share our stories.

On Saturday, Sept. 24, PFLAG will host a session and have a table at the Greater Cincinnati GLBTQ Youth Summit which is held in the Student Union at Northern Kentucky University. Our session, titled "Coming Out to Your Parents and Family", will be similar to a chapter meeting with an opportunity for attendees to share their stories. If you attend, you are welcome to join us at the session and please stop at the PFLAG table and say hello. For more info see http://www.cincyyouthsummit.org/ .

We hope to see you at a PFLAG meeting soon.

Tom
