UC Campus Dec 1 - World Aids Day UC - West Campus/TUC Atrium

posted Nov 28, 2010, 10:03 AM by Michael Chanak
There are approximately 1.1 million people living with HIV in the United States. In 2006, 13% of new HIV infections occurred in people ages 13-26, more than any other age group.

World AIDS Day is recognized in countries across the world to bring awareness to the HIV/AIDS epidemic. We are asking students, faculty, and staff at the University of Cincinnati to wear red on Wednesday, December 1st, to bring awareness to HIV/AIDS.

Stop by the TUC Atrium from 10am-2pm for information on HIV/AIDS and to view the UC World AIDS Day Quilt. Receive a gift if you are wearing red!
