How to help? Most special events such as Pride Night @ Kings Island are staffed by regular Center volunteers who have completed training. Our primary need is for front desk volunteers who open, great guests, answer questions and close the Center per our training guidelines. There are two ways to be involved!➥ Group Leader - Program Members of the community, usually experienced in a particular area, can present a plan to host or supervise a group at the Center. Please drop a note to programs@cincyglbt.com with your idea, who the target audience is, date and times requested, and how the group will be conducted. This might also take the form of leading a committee or even proposing a one time seminar or event at the Center. ➥ Front Desk Volunteers - Folks that open Center, greet guests, answer questions, and close. Toby Martino is our new Volunteer Coordinator. Toby began training at the Center in early 2010 and quickly demonstrated the community spirit, friendliness and patience needed to work with diverse folks that are guests of the Center. Tuesdays with Toby is what we call it. He volunteers most Tuesdays and trains that evening as well. Toby is a native of Lima, Ohio and a student at Cincinnati State Technical and Community College. He resides in Cincinnati, Ohio. If you would like to be a volunteer at the Center, please read the attachments listed below. They contain the FAQs for the Center and cover our requirements and guidelines to be a volunteer. Then, drop a note to volunteers@cincyglbt.com We suggest you read the attached FAQs used by our volunteers to open, run and close the Center for our guests!
