How to help....
Most special events such as Pride Night @ Kings Island are staffed by regular Center volunteers who have completed training. Our primary need is for front desk volunteers who open, great guests, answer questions and close the Center per our training guidelines. There are two ways to be involved!
➥ Group Leader - Program
Members of the community, usually experienced in a particular area, can present a plan to host or supervise a group at the Center. Please drop a note to programs@cincyglbt.com with your idea, who the target audience is, date and times requested, and how the group will be conducted. This might also take the form of leading a committee or even proposing a one time seminar or event at the Center.
➥ Front Desk Volunteers - Folks that open Center, greet guests, answer questions, and close. You must be 18 years of age or older for this task. Please review FAQs at the bottom of this page, and then write volunteers@cincyglbt.com to contact the volunteer coordinator and set up a training time.

Our volunteer coordinator is Hannah Smith!
Hannah Smith decided she wanted to get involved in the community! She knew that the Center touched many organizations and resources in the regional GLBT community so she joined up as a volunteer.
She's 22 years old, and a Westsider, as well as, a May 2012 graduate of College of Mount St. Joseph. A double major in English and Communications, she works as offer coordinator at Penklor a real estate investment company.
If you would like to be a volunteer at the Center, please read the attachments listed below. They contain the FAQs for the Center and cover our requirements and guidelines to be a volunteer. Then, drop a note to volunteers@cincyglbt.com
Please read the attached FAQs used by our volunteers to open, run and close the Center for our guests! When you contact us, please include a phone number! |
